While we discuss the need for reform at the global level, in order to make global tax governance work fro Africa these reforms must be accompanied by steps at the domestic level. A multipronged approach that requires both international and national level changes is required. This session will unpack the actions that governments need to take at national level to ensure the effectiveness of reform at the global level. It will explore the need to strengthen regulatory systems, discuss policy measures, and governance reforms. This will be a discussion on effective policies implemented in different African countries to curb IFFs, sharing key successes and learnings that could be emulated elsewhere.
