The evening will mark the official opening of the 13th Pan-African Conference on Illicit Financial Flows and Taxation (PAC), bringing together participants for a ceremonial launch. The session will feature opening remarks from the co-hosts of the PAC reflecting on the 10-year journey since the landmark High-Level Panel Report on IFFs and the evolving continental and global agenda for tax justice. Interwoven with artistic interludes that celebrate Africa’s rich cultural heritage, the opening will create a space that honours both the gravity of the issues at hand and the spirit of pan-African solidarity.  The evening aims to strike a meaningful balance between organisational formality and cultural resonance, leaving participants inspired, grounded, and ready to engage in this milestone gathering.
